Did the poop hit the twirly air-circulating thing, and I missed it?

For me, every bag, satchel and glove compartment has at least a folder: SAK, Opinel, Okapi, Spyderco Rescue: something handy and sharp. Doing it this way is just convenient for me. I have cheap, flat carton cutters (the flat kind with the single-edged razor blade) all over the place. Assorted old folders with carbon steel blades: Case, Hibbard, Ulster and Schrade Old Timer (my Uncle Henry got stolen because I was foolish). These are not pry bars; I have pry bars for that.

{Oh...I even carry a pocket knife in my pocket--imagine that}

Medium sized fixed blades: 5" carbon steel Schrade 49er; Helle Grizzly; Rapala and Gerber filet knives, a couple of Green River skinners, a Hibbard butcher knife and a great-big Case XX single blade folder. Oh, and there's  a stainless Tekna/Ocean Edge dive knife in the trunk, in case a coral reef should happen to appear suddenly and without warning here in the Upper Midwest.   

The 21 1/2" Malay parang would get tossed into the Jeep if need be, along with whatever heavier blades happened to catch my eye. Plenty of axes, cleavers, hatchets and hand axes around here.

Yeah, I think that it's important to be able to cut things, if need be.

Oh, and when Valkman's Small Skinner arrives (Hi!), it's probably going to go wherever I go.

Now, we can't throw a bunch of blades and stuff, and spare ammo in every vehicle (much as I'd like to). Why? Because our vehicles frequently end up being traded amongst the family when needed, and said vehicles end up parked at the local high school when my sisters take it.

A knife or ammo, if discovered, will get them arrested and expelled.

Good point, Avenger. I don't have kids and it didn't occur to me. Thanks for bringing it up.
