Yep.  In Utah if you don't have a CCW - and want to carry - it is Condition 3.

Stupid.  (like the majority of laws...)

Actually I *DO* agree with Condition 3 carry for all USMC Officers - the VAST MAJORITY shouldn't even be issued a firearm!! :rotfl

    I didn't realize that you couldn't carry chambered in Utah, agreed that it's a stupid law. Like I said I prefer to have my gear ready to go, actually that in itself would be enough to drive me to not open carry in Utah. Hate to say it but I just like having a hot gun more than having it open:)

    George you need to get you butt in that legislative seat and get to work changing that ;D

    It's a law that wouldn't cost anything. It benefits the individual in a defense situation. It's a good idea that makes sense.
