Ohio Concealed Carry.
« on: February 18, 2019, 10:49:50 pm »
I will be travelling to Ohio for work, and need to know about the concealed carry laws. Specifically the rules for concealed carry inside a vehicle. Do I need to have the gun fully unloaded? Or am I good to go with a valid Utah carry permit?

    Start here:  http://www.handgunlaw.us/

Check to see if they honor your permit.  Check the link on the left:  "St. Honnoring My Lic."

Actually, I'll do it for you, but you're still the responsible one.

Yep.  According to the chart, Ohio honors Utah permits.  Vehicle specific rules, I'll let you look into.

Be aware that Ohio is a duty to report state.  Like several others, any time you approach or are approached by a cop on official business (traffic stop, he questions you about something, you make a police report, etc) the first  words out of your mouth need to be: "Officer, before we begin, I am required by law to inform you..."
