You know you are in a Gun Friendly state when the guy signing your license is Charles Bronson ;D

I would also very seriously recommend the book Florida Firearms, Law, Use & Ownership. (http://www.floridafirearmslaw.com/) by Jon Gutmacher. It is the most complete and up to date book regarding gun laws and pitfalls for any Floridian gun owner.

And I say this over and over:
THERE IS NO THREE MOVE RULE TO CARRY A CONCEALED WEAPON INSIDE A VEHICLE IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA WITHOUT A LICENSE.

You either carry a weapon concealed with a license or you carry a gun securely encased without a license.

    I can attest to that. I had my pistol a month or two before my CCW, and managed to get pulled over a few times with the gun in the center console. No problem. I also noticed that when I got pulled over WITH my CCW, they only asked to see the license if the gun was on my person. If it was in the console, they just asked to hold onto the gun until we were done talking business.
