Nice.   :thumbup1      I have hit steel at about 200 yards with a Mossberg 930 smooth bore lobbing Remington slugs but that's just goofing around at the range.  As a practical matter my smooth bores max out at about 100 yards for any serious slug usage.  Rifled barrels and saboted slugs extend that somewhat but I haven't gone down that particular rabbit hole yet.

The Fiocchi JM 12 gauge rifled slug cartridge uses a 7/8th ounce slug at a nominal 1300 fps.

Interesting how a lot of stuff lately seems to be getting "JM" branded.

I think it started with a couple of S&W JM models, but has now branched out to other manufacturers.  Hope he's getting a fair return for the use of his initials.
