I love the bull pup concept, but being a lefty it's mostly a no go.  Don't like eating brass and hot powder/gas.
This may be considered as the true palladium of liberty. . . . The right of self defence is the first law of nature: in most governments it has been the study of rulers to confine this right within the narrowest limits possible. Wherever standing armies are kept up, and the right of the people to keep and bear arms is, under any colour or pretext whatsoever, prohibited, liberty, if not already annihilated, is on the brink of destruction- St. George Tucker, Blackstone's Commentaries

That would be a great goblin stomper loaded up with Brennekes. But until someone gets reasonable about those magazine prices...

I'm a lefty as well, but that being said, shooting right handed with a rifle is much easier than shooting a pistol right-handed.

A Saiga bullpup would be great.  I like the adjustible stock on it.

True ambidextrous operation - it has bottom eject.  12 round selectable mag, too.

That Saiga's got a serious case of badass. Now I gotta get me one!  What's the neostad? Where can I see one?

The Neostead is a dual magazine pump-action shotgun developed in South Africa, that the ATF classified as evil and unacceptable as soon as they heard of it.

Also, I forget which one, I think it was the NeoStad, or it could be one with a pistol-grip magazine - that had non-standard 12 gauge = ie: short shells not usable for other shotguns.

Actually, the Neostad seems to use proper 12 gauge ammo.

Doug, the one that looks like a poorly-drawn Uzi uses the super-short shells. I think the special shells were the reason it wasn't an international hit.

Yes.  I forgot the name of that one.

Word around the campfire is that an importer is working on bringing them into Canada though.

...and Del Selins in lower mainland BC has one of the Neosteads now for sale:

    $2950 + tax, S&H

Anybody got a spare three grand?  I'll buy it and do a review if you do.

The Saiga BP looks like an expensive and needless conversion that nevertheless does look cool.  I'll take standard parts, time proven operation, and less complication, thanks.

Oh no.  No no no no no.

You have no idea what you just did.

I've been wanting a shorty bullpup rifle to pack around on the ATV and behind the seat of my truck but I can't afford the FS-2000 until spring.  Now I find a bullpup kit for AKs?  Either I'm going to take the folder off my MAK-90 or I'm gonna pick up a new AK so I can put one of these together.

I want one of these.  Bad.  Very bad.

If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—forever.

That bullpup saiga reminds me strongly of the SA-80.... :hmm  ('cept for the part where it's a shotgun, anyhow...)
