Been jonesin' for a replica 1878 coach gun (with the mule ear hammers). I don't know anything about the companies making them. I have internet viewed Cimmaron, Taylor's, Norinco, etc.

I am leaning toward the Taylor's version. The wood looks rougher but I am the daddy-o with woodwork and re-finishing so no worries about that. I like the Stoeger coach gun reputation but I want a coach gun with external hammers and Stoegers don't have them.

Does anyone have any advice based on experience with these? Thanks in advance.
