Think I saw a shell eject immediately following the reload. The shell was unfired so he ejected a live round. He had fired and pumped, loading a live round. Then added more shells to the magazine. Then he ejected the live round and commenced firing.

I should hope not. Mobs of rogue woodworking tools would suck to repel.

    Best shotgun fight scene starring:

    -High Standard 120 Riot Gun
    -1911A1
    -Colt Python
    -Swedish K or S&W 76 submachine gun?

Notice how Steve McQueen exhibits smooth muzzle awareness in the upstairs hallway.

Yes, but there is a far more obvious editing error!

Faye almost runs over McQueen, he falls down, drops the shotgun, and the paper flies off the stock. He stands up, he's still holding the shotgun and the paper is still on the stock.

Either way, I gotta track down a copy of this movie.

Look carefully from frame 1.00 to 1.10 for the editing error.

There is no paper on the stock when McQueen stands up.   When he walks around to the passenger side of the car, the paper reappears on the stock.

Faye almost runs over McQueen, .
    Sorry, that was Ali McGraw.

    -Swedish K or S&W 76 submachine gun?

That's got to be Lee Marvin in "Prime Cut". Which also has Gene Hackman and a very young and mostly naked Sissy Spasek(?). An absolute "B" movie that sure is fun to watch.

The profile of the submachine gun appears to match the S&W 76.

Pretty much the same thing the S&W76 and Swedish K. I can't tell the diff myself at a glance

Pretty much the same thing the S&W76 and Swedish K. I can't tell the diff myself at a glance
The S&W 76 came about as a result of the Swedish gov't getting pissed about the US use of the K in RVN. They refused to sell anymore to the USG. So S&W stepped in and used the K as the inspiration for the 76.
Key visuals to tell them apart is the smaller diameter of the barrel shroud and it's (the 76's) vent holes, the smaller protective wings on the front sight, as well as the different location of the sights. (the K has the front at the end of the barrel, and the rear is on the forward portion of the receiver and is a open rear, while the 76 has a front sight on the forward portion of the receiver and a peep on the rear of the receiver)
Also, the grip is much different and the K has no safety/selector lever. the sling brackets on the 76 are welded to the left side of the receiver where the K has a barrel mounted sling swivel.A lot of the K guns were green, the S&W were parked.
But yeah, essentially, they are family in the same sense as the BREN and the Czech ZB vz. 26.
      I'm a freak for the K, Port Said and S&W 76!
Some more good S&W 76 movies were; "The Omega Man" and "The Stone Killer".

Ah yes, The Omega Man was cool up until the lil girl asks Charlton Heston in that epic moment of cinematic cheeeez:

    "Are you God"

"Why ye...err No, no I'm not but well its just that Ava Gardner always screams that when I ...well never mind"
