I know I am.  I'm deep in arrears to my Gun Fund now, but just found (serendipity of serendipities) a Marlin 1895SBL, lightly used (you have to look closely to know that), and I jumped on it for $599.  You can tell it's been babied.  I absolutely could not believe the price that was put on it.  After all these years, somebody up there finally likes me.

It'll be Tuesday before I can pick it up.  (It's a serious bit of good fortune to have a dealer with stores in the two states I frequent -- that will send iron to the state with about half the sales tax.)

I'll keep a place next to me in Hades for you.  I can't seem to stop putting guns on layaway and I have 2 currently at 2 different shops (Dan Wesson 44 Mag w/2 barrels, scope & box w/tools & paperwork and a CZ 527 .223 w/Nikon 223 scope).  My last layaway was a Kimber Ultra Carry II that I paid off with a loan of 600.00 from my wife with the promise that I pay her back after teaching my last pistol class in VA.  Nothing like robbing the new car fund for a gun.
