Building the most triggering AR-15 possible
« on: July 01, 2018, 06:20:38 pm »
Random project idea...building an AR packed with as many AWB-list features as possible.  Why?  Because inducing freak outs from leftards is hilarious.

So...what features/parts to use?

For starters, you pretty much have to use the Spike's Tactical Snowflake lower, with selector positions for Safespace, Triggered, and Full Libtard:  https://www.spikestactical.com/products/snowflake-lower?variant=93291479063

And since folding stocks and collapsible stocks are each scary by themselves, then a stocks that is both folding and collapsible must be at least twice as scary.  Therefore we're going to need an AR folding stock adapter:  http://www.primaryarms.com/sylvan-arms-ar-15-folding-stock-adapter-arh100?trk_msg=TJD76T3MDO64PAPI0M3QEU7CA8&trk_contact=F6RQDR5TUQMOARG0J3IM6F3APK&trk_sid=770J3TTVSA3LDCS0CGLAIT1QMG&utm_source=listrak&utm_medium=email&utm_term=SLOT_5&utm_campaign=18_06_Ad_31_Indepedence_Day_Part_1

Add carbine stock buffer tube and stock of your choice.

Not sure if it's possible to have a bumpfire stock that folds and/or collapses.  Pretty sure nobody makes a top folding stock adapter for the AR, so I don't think you're going to be able to go full "shoulder thing that goes up."

Pistol grip is easy, vertical foregrip is easy, 'flash hider' is easy.  Preferably a flash hider that also serves as a QD mount for a suppressor.  And the suppressor, of course.

Barrel shroud...IOTW, handguard, also easy.

Now, does anyone know if it's possible to combine a bayonet lug with a free float handguard?  Or do you have to use the classic A frame gas block and government handguards?

Of course, if you go with the classic barrel nut and barrel profile (M4 or M16), you can add a flare launcher (that at least looks like a grenade launcher):  https://www.brownells.com/shooting-accessories/duty-gear/safety-amp-warning-equipment/m203-37mm-launcher-prod118458.aspx

Alternately, if you want to spend the $$$, you can apparently actually go full chainsaw bayonet:  https://www.panaceax.com/weaponized-chainsaw/zxcb-chain-saw-in-flat-black

So, what am I missing?

I need that chainsaw bayonet. It's so stupid, I gotta have it  :rotfl.

Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.

I was going to do that....ended up making it a KISS because it was just too ridiculous to leave that way even in fun  :rotfl

Langenator - I have a rail top gas block with a bayonet lug, so they're out there... not using it, or the free float forearm that goes around it, if you're interested...

I like my TBRC A-Salt lower.

Whichever way you go, Cerakote it like the Confederate Flag just to make sure.

I'm not saying you should use an M1A for home defense, but I'm also not saying you shouldn't.

Booksmart - I appreciate the offer.  Sadly, right now this is just a daydream skull session.  Real life expenses (aka braces for my oldest kid)  have first call on my money for the immediate future.

Oh, and I might be able to do even better than the Confederate flag in terms of triggering.

My dad's side of the family all came from Prussia.

I have one on my service rifle build.  I don't recall if mine is the Compass Lake or RRA version.  I think it is the RRA, but they are equivalent in function.

HeadlandRam is spot on that they are heavy.  And they weigh a lot too.  Great for a dedicated target rifle.  Terrible for actually carrying anywhere.

It is, so much that I'm gonna take it off and just run regular hand guard or find a way to keep it free float and reto guards
