I finally found something to put my Lucid on. My LGS was selling Spike's stripped lowers for $99 so I grabbed one up. I ordered an AAC upper, which I then had Cerakoted. I like the way this turned out. It took a bit of work to get the upper Cerakoted. For some reason, AAC handguards require a special wrench to remove. The guy that did mine said he'd never Cerakot another AAC upper.

Thanks. I'm toying with the idea of getting the bottom part of the buttstock Cerakoted as well.

Sweet rifle, I am still saving funds to complete my .300BLK upper.  Good to know on the AAC upper, their 9" upper was on my list as possible buys.  Sounds like the Knight's Armament Co. (KAC) URX rail is a pain.  Beautiful cerakote job, how do you like the ACE stock?
