Primer Costs

Right now, for a short time, it looks like I can get my hands on 10,000 Winchester Large Pistol Primers for $300 in a private sale. I think that's a pretty good price. I'd have to drive about 40 miles to pick them up. Should I jump on it?

I would! $30 per M isn't bad these days. The cheapest I've seen them is $35 per M and that would still have sales tax added to it. Buy all 10k and don't look back.

That's not bad, if Winchesters are ones you like I'd jump on it. Can't have enough primers.

Thirty per thousand is about average right now, but the key is they are available. I'd grab em.

This may be considered as the true palladium of liberty. . . . The right of self defence is the first law of nature: in most governments it has been the study of rulers to confine this right within the narrowest limits possible. Wherever standing armies are kept up, and the right of the people to keep and bear arms is, under any colour or pretext whatsoever, prohibited, liberty, if not already annihilated, is on the brink of destruction- St. George Tucker, Blackstone's Commentaries
