Anyone have any plans or diagrams for a portable reloading bench?  I just picked up a Forster Co-Ax that I want to be a little more portable than my Dillon.  Purpose for this press is for my magnum calibers.  I anticipate taking it to the range for load development as well as taking back and forth from my Shed to my Basement (in the summer).

I've been looking at the Bench Topper and for $110, it's a fair price, but still expensive.

I'm thinking of doing something similar with wood but it won't be as light as the Bench Topper.  Upside is that it would probably only cost about $20 or less to make with scrap pieces of wood, some of it that I already have.

Any other ideas out there for something portable?

I have used a wooden folding TV tray in the past.
(searches for a pic...) Ah, just like these: http://www.kmart.com/search=folding%20tv%20tables I had the set of 4.

I snagged these at a Railroad Salvage. I later snagged just two, from a hardware store, damaged in shipping. Meaning, I got these cheap!  

2. Used a pc of wood, which was C clamped to a picnic table, or such at the private gun ranges I frequented.

Now what I had set up, keeping in mind I was reloading shotgun shells, in 12, 20, 28, and .410.

I had all my Mec re-loaders, both single stage and Progressive (Mec 9000)  mounted on a pc of wood. All these  pcs of "mounts" also had holes drilled, and with the home bench, with bolts ( whatever the smooth tops ones are called) I simply used wing nuts to secure re-loader to the "base".

 Meaning if need, just a matter of undoing wing nuts, change to another re-loader, and gauge. I simple stored the extra re-loaders in a Rubbermaid tote. I "only had" 13 re-loaders at the time, in one location. 
I used single stage re-loaders for load development, and for my serious competition loads., in all 4 gauges (skeet).

So I could very easily, be portable. I mean this set up, would easily fit into the trunk of say a Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra, Honda Civic...etc.

I simple drilled holes in the TV Tray, as I had done with the home benches. Just a matter of using those bolts and wing nuts,  with the re-loader on its mounted wood,  and good to go.
Or, just C clamp  the aforementioned  to a picnic table, etc. 

I have done this with RockChuckers as well, so folks could work up loads.

 These folding TV trays also make for a portable shooting bench as well.

Stable:
 I cheated. At one private range, I had dug holes, inserted pvc pipe, allowing the legs to fit down in the ground a bit. I simply covered these with tuna fish cans...when not in use.

I also made sand bags, using the legs out of blue jeans, and empty 25 # bags of lead shot.

Black and Decker used to make a nifty portable folding work bench (work-mate ?) The newer ones are not the same.

Have never used one, and not an endorsement, just remember seeing them in the catalogs.

I saw this. It's nice but not portable enough for me.  After much searching, I think I like this.  It's between this and the Bench Topper right now.

It's like the Dillon Strong Mount, but made out of steel.  I can C-Clamp it and I can move it from Shed to Basement to Car with ease.  It's also $35 cheaper than the Bench Topper I posted above.
