NO ONE on WTA has a reloading Christmas list?
« on: December 24, 2011, 01:31:52 am »
Man, I know it's the holidays, and everyone(including me) is busy.  But no one has a wish list of roll-you-own goodness?

Mine this year, because I'm a lucky dog, is free time.  I truthfully have plenty of components, but that's the rub, they are just that, components. So, without further adieu-

 Dear Santa:

I need snow.  Lots and lots of snow.  That removes many responsibilities outside the house for the season, and allows me to concentrate on things inside my home, such as reloading my years supply of practice ammo, simmering a pot of chili or ham and beans on the stove all day, and just farting around in the gun room in general due to inclement weather disallowing other activities that were on the to-do list.

I'm sure you've been going like crazy the last couple months, so you indeed understand what I'm saying when I say "ENOUGH.  I need some me time!"

So that's it.  My list for the year.  One single item-  A heavy snowstorm, or even an out-n-out blizzard if you think I've been good enough.

Thank you,
'Norse

Dude, I'm scared to reload right now. My luck hasn't been too hot for the past couple of months, so I'm not having anything to do with something as sensitive as reloading until it returns.

Santa, please bring me my good luck back. And a Dillon machine. And a pallet each of primers, powder, cases, and bullets so I can attempt to wear out said Dillon.

I want a couple of hundred pounds of pure lead, several 8-pounds kegs of powder and a Dillon set up for each of my calibers. Thanks Santa.

NO ONE on WTA has a reloading Christmas list?

Oh, I have one.  Several, actually.  Midway, Cheaper than Dirt, Cabelas, etc.  I just didn't know you wanted to know what it was Norseman.   :D

Wait.  Does that mean you're wanting to send me a present?  Ah, how nice!   I don't mind it arriving after the 25th.  It is called the Twelve Days of Christmas. you know.     :clap

    Let's see.   :hmm

I need components.  110 gr .30 cal, 165-180 gr .40 cal, 55 gr .223 cal, 180-230 gr .45 cal bullets.  Oh, and primers:  LR, SP, SR primers.  And powder.

    I need time.  And health.

I realize those last two aren't available for shipping, and the powder is probably best acquired locally, but thanks for asking.

Yeah, I want to learn how to reload 12ga and .380 ACP this year...

But there's absolutely no primers and powder to be sold in México.

    Sigh  :'(

Gotta fly to the states for a course or two of reloading and some shooting.

I have everything I need to reload .45 and .38, and yet I've never loaded a single round.  :facepalm

One of these days I'll buy the consumables and get to it.

I have everything I need to get back to my reloading...except a table that will hold up. So that is what I want. Our old one wouldn't fit on the moving truck.

I need to set up my presses, and I always need consumables. My HiM brought a hundred or so pieces of brass over yesterday, which was nice.

I want to learn to roll some just plain nasty 45-70 rounds along with experimenting with lighter bullets w an eye to expansion for human work.  So basically just use my new toy to its fullest.

My reloading xmas wish list is simple, to just get the time to do it is all i want.....between working at the Corrections facility and everyday things, reloading is becoming a distant memory. Since I have 1x .50cal can each of .45ACP, 9mm, .38/,357, 12ga and 5.56mm already done I have plenty to last me through the shooting of winter, Not that i really get much shooting done now.

Bring that 45 brass up to UT with you next time and we'll load it all.  Or you could just ship it to me in a Flat Rate box.   :thumbup1

I have everything I need to get back to my reloading...except a table that will hold up. So that is what I want. Our old one wouldn't fit on the moving truck.

Do you need specs for a table?  I just built one 2 weeks ago and it's pretty sturdy.
