This is my reloading bench (not the best lighting for a picture...) and I do have a desk lamp but it just isn't able to put the light exactly where I need it and not get in the way at the same time. My dad gave me a reel of LED lights that run off of 12v and they are dimmable as well. I just used a fraction of the lights that he gave me and the 12v AC adapter I used from some appliance that was either broken or whatever...I just took the wall adapter and snipped off the male plug and soldered it to a switch and soldered the lights to the other end of the switch. Very easy to do and cost me exactly nothing as I had everything needed.

These are the LED light strips that I have epoxied to my press. I just have them on both sides of "ridge" on the vertical part of the frame as the light that they put off is extremely bright and isn't needed in an overhead position. As you can see I can swap out tool heads without needing to pop anything out and the wires are out of sight and out of the way.

This is of course with the lights on. They are so bright that it's hard to photograph, but you get the idea.
