I know it is old hat to many of you but this is the first of what I hope are many reloads:

Berry's plated 200 gr JHP
Scrounged Federal  Brass
4 gr 700X

The data on WTA and THR taught me a ton, from how to build a bench to what gear to get.

Should I keep it or shoot it?

Shoot it!  Once you shoot it and everything comes out fine, you'll be hooked... and ready to go run off another batch.  The very first set of reloads I did was 6 rounds of 38 Special, and I shot them in a 357 since I was so worried about overdoing it or getting something wrong.  No worries, and it is just the coolest thing to see a round that you loaded by hand, yourself, go slap into the backstop.

    Congrats! :clap

Do what the rest of us did.  Pin the gun between 2 big sand bags, run 12-15 feet of string to the trigger, stand behind your barricade and pull that string!!!!!

LOL!  I gotta admit I'm a little nervous about shooting the batch.  I was also really surprised at how little powder goes in the case.  A pound of 700X is going to last for freaking ever.

7000 grains per pound my friend.  So that gets us 7000 divided by 4 = 1750 rounds per pound of powder.  Real life that means 1700 with variances, grain here or there that gets spilled, etc.
