Thanks to everyone who answered my silly noob questions. I fired my very first reloaded .223 cartridge yesterday, and the rifle DID NOT BLOW UP!

I've got 25 more loaded since, and another 40+ deprimed and resized. That's not counting the 30+ military cases that need to be un-crimped or whatever to prime. And the unknown number in the tumbler right now...

Anyway, thanks for helping me become a real reloader.

I'd say you're hooked now!  Congratulations!

    Welcome to the club!
This may be considered as the true palladium of liberty. . . . The right of self defence is the first law of nature: in most governments it has been the study of rulers to confine this right within the narrowest limits possible. Wherever standing armies are kept up, and the right of the people to keep and bear arms is, under any colour or pretext whatsoever, prohibited, liberty, if not already annihilated, is on the brink of destruction- St. George Tucker, Blackstone's Commentaries

It's nice to know you did things right after that first one doesn't destroy your weapon.
    Good job.
