Dude!  You have totally ruined my only two days off this month!!!  I'm gonna spend most of the time finding more videos and stuff from these folks!

Not even 4 hours old yet  :cool.

Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.
Ray Chapman, used to say that the 125-grain Magnum load’s almost magical stopping power was the only reason to load .357 instead of .38 Special +P ammunition into a fighting revolver chambered for the Magnum round. I agree. - Massad Ayoob

Paradoxically it is those who strive for self-reliance, who remain vigilant and ready to help others.

And for the record, nobody - and I mean NOBODY ever did "Amy" as well as Pure Prairie League did the original.

Very first concert I attended--Pure Prairie League---w/ Vince Gill on vocals---opened for the CDB

I have only attended one concert in my life and it was in wacky, liberal Austin, Texas. My friend drug me there to see Death Grips :hide. All I remember was that there were young hipsters with tatoos every where, a lobby with an impressive array of alcoholic beverages, some sort of nude movie was playing on the big screen televisions in said lobby, and it was a gun free zone. It wasn't worth the hearing loss and it was one of the more bizarre things I've seen. I just glared at people and drank my water in the bazillion degree heat while the young people mosh pitted, got spat on by MC Ride, and were strung out on weed, liquor, and God knows what else.

Heard this one today and enjoyed it. It's different from Kasey Chambers other songs. I'm not even sure you could classify it as country.

I have only attended one concert in my life ...............
???  this.....this does not even compute...........live music is da bomb. I have seen everyone from Asleep At The Wheel to ZZ Top--some multiple times.
I was only allowed to ever attend 2 concerts while I was in school.......and I told myself--when I get on my own, and I wanted to go, I would take off and go--anytime, anywhere---and I have.
When the band is tight, and the audience can feed/feel the energy, it is an amazing time.  :thumbup1
Although with some acts---like The Grateful Dead or Jimmy Buffet, the show starts in the parking lot.

At some point you just get enough of being around crowds - even if they are mostly gathered for the same reasons.  Happens sooner with some of us than others.  At this point in my life I wouldn't walk across the street to see most concerts if you gave me the ticket free.

I was just mad cos I couldn't carry my gun. I don't think you can in any concert. Some days I'll forego carrying multiple guns, but not carrying any gun at all? Madness  :bash.

Also, I really don't like the mixing of alcohol and stupid people. Which is why I typically drink at home.

On a random note, we need to bring back the WTA alcohol thread  :coffee.

That was surprisingly more similar to the gentle rock that I listen to, than what I would expect from you, Goerge. I clicked it thinking for sure that it would be heavy metal.

Was browsing around Amazon Prime Music and came across this guy's stuff.   Metal versions of classic NES theme songs.   My favorites were Contra and The Legend of Zelda.  The first track on the album is also hilarious (NSFW).
