While I can appreciate the creative impulse the end result just doesn't work for me. Its the musical equivalent of ordering a thick, juicy medium rare porterhouse steak with a side of sauteed mushrooms and when it arrives sizzling hot at your table dumping Hershey's Chocolate Syrup over the whole thing.

And for the record, I agree that "collided" is the proper terminology.

these seem like they belong in Django unchained.
I actually like it. it is literally country rap. (abbreviated C.rap) that isn't that bad. I like that their relying on acoustic more then electric instruments, the actual singing appeals to me in the same way as johnny cash. pop country rap is cancer. pop country is cancer.

I'm going to listen to some Cash now.

This is the song I was looking for as my example a few days ago. It might be a whole world apart physically, but the mindset of Texas country and Australian country music is on the same mental/cultural wave length.

A woman after my own heart, Georgia Maq is a nurse and singer/song writer with a penchant for simple acoustic and vocals folk music.

You can also hear from her band Camp Cope. They are similar to The Smith Street Band which I have posted some of their songs here before.
