Sarge, that is some beautiful land you are in there. Especially during winter. We have driven through that area, I was lucky enough to wake up before dawn, and saw the morning fog hanging over the land in that half-light before the sun comes over the horizon, there is something beautifully eerie about the stillness in those hours, you feel as though nothing else is alive in the world, like time has stopped, and you are the only thing left moving.
At least, I assume we were still in that part of Appalachia, it fits the amount of time I had been sleeping.
