Raptor, KSUguy, I don't know where ya'll found these clips, but they both had some very clever editing.....very clever indeed!  :thumbup1  :rotfl

The "War Pigs" vid showed up in Facebook's "Trending Now" sidebar, and the Pulp Fiction one popped up in my YouTube's Recommended For You feed a few days later.

That's the fault of the projectile material, not the linear mass-driver.  This cat figures out what bullets look like and what they are made from - he's going to really have something there.

That is interesting,  900 kmh is a bit more than 800 fps.   That is approaching pistol velocities.   If he can increase the power a bit and scale it down to a more portable package about the size of a regular rifle,   that would be awesome.

Trying to figure out why it has that airtank at the back... initial launch, then magnetic accelerators for the railgun qualification?

you have to inject the projectile into the 'chamber' otherwise it just spotwelds to the rails. I'm guessing he's pushing 100-300fps into the chamber.

I always loved the Skyraider, coming out the experiances of WW2 and soldiering on (and giving good account of itself) well into the jet age.    Big, honking tough badass.

This crazy sucker understands the right way to play a game where an attack chopper targeting you is an excellent opportunity, to get a shiny new helicopter.
