it has AI now too. i might have set up an epic air battle with like- 40 planes.

I played the hell out of KSP.
So many Kerbals died...
But I did get a Lunar Orbit, with a return landing.
And I did reach another planet... But then bad things happened.
My last rocket involved some 25 Solid Fuel boosters and a large engine with 8 large fuel tanks. Small engine with 3 large fuel tanks... and sundry other small thrusters and such. It worked very well.

I need to get a new computer some day so I can play Kerbal. That last one had me laughing so hard. The one before that was just impressive that some one could mod the game to that extant.

I managed to get a ship to Duna (Mars-analog), land, mine resources there to refuel, and return to Kerbin.

Right now I'm working on capturing a class-D asteroid and putting it into a useful prograde equatorial orbit. It's not as easy as it sounds.

Would it be easier to get it locked into one of the LaGrange Points?

There are no LaGrange points in KSP. It uses simple newtonian physics for orbital movement NOT N-body physics calculation.

A class-D asteroid is very heavy. Did you make a dockable/refuelable asteroid grabber Jesse? The only way I could figure out how to move one very effectively was 6 nuke motors, a decent tank size and make the grabber probe able to be refueled with docking node. It still took a few refuel trips and some 'unplanned' orbits.

Not sure if we have any breaking bad fans here, but I found this tribute to Mike. I love Mike Ehrmantraut, he is quite possibly one of my favourite fictional characters on television. Police officer turned private investigator, who then pragmatically uses his skills to run security for a meth ring leader and vet the organisations future employees to make sure they are trustable. He does this all in order to provide for his granddaughter and uses the meth money to provide her with an outstanding college fund.

If you haven't watched it yet, I highly recommend this show.

Unfortunately KSP does simple conics instead of n-body gravity simulations, so there aren't any Lagrange points.

My Asteroid turned out to be very resource rich - 97% - so I was able to drill it and process it into fuel without any other refueling. Barely put a dent in its mass.

Saw it on some random person's facebook comments. What was really interesting was how they digitally inserted characters into the other movie. It wasn't just cutting back and forth between the movies.
