Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.
Ray Chapman, used to say that the 125-grain Magnum load’s almost magical stopping power was the only reason to load .357 instead of .38 Special +P ammunition into a fighting revolver chambered for the Magnum round. I agree. - Massad Ayoob

That outfit is called a seifuku (not the actual spelling...but you should get the idea) and is what just about every school girl wears in Japan.  When I was stationed at Misawa I had some people asking me to buy a uniform for their gf/wife but the sticker shock of what they cost kept them with Party City costumes or something.

That wasn't so bad, I was pleasantly surprised  :). There was no tentacles, anything overtly sexual, nor any school girl uniforms; because it lacks these things it may not do too well in the Japanese market  :P

Found out recently I'll be moving there this fall.  If I see anything too weird I'll try and grab a picture.

Seems like it might be fun to visit,  don't think I could live there though.  I get pissed at the number of people in Wichita,   I don't think I'd be able to deal with the crowding over there.

I'll be living on base, so hopefully that cuts down on the population density a bit.

I've heard great things from everyone who's lived there, I'm looking forward to it.
