SJW is not a synonym of "leftists" or "liberals". Left-wing and right-wing positions are based on economics. SJWs are left-authoritarians which means that they are not liberals. Don't paint all leftists or liberals with the same (misguided) brush.

That wasn't weird to me at first.  But the longer I looked at it the stranger it got.

I know the artist, Abby Soto:

I don't know which pic was more epic - killing bomb-strapped baby seals, or George Washington cuttin' C'thulhu to sushi.

Here's more of her stuff - in honor of the start of the "War of Northern Aggression."

Nice video. Loved Nick Fury :)

<Edited to Remove my rant against South haters>  :banghead

The Confederate Flag is about Southern Pride and a respect for our heritage, connotations of racism are only applied by the ignorant, on both sides of the Mason-Dixon. The South had and still has many black people who supported being Southern. It's a part of our culture that outsiders can't seem to wrap their heads around. In a lot of small towns back home, you're just as likely to see a black man wearing a flag ball cap as a white man. It's who we are.  :shrug

She's a talented artist nonetheless. I'm impressed with her work.

And no, I don't have a Confederate flag flying off the back of my truck ;)

Didn't mean to offend against the Confederate Flag.  It just seemed very timely that day.

Cool Sarah Palin images as recompense.

    Agreed.
When I was just out of high school, I worked with a gentleman of color who had "The Flag" tattooed on his arm.
I have crossed checkered and battle flags on my arm.
It isnt about race at all, it is heritage and "southern pride".
    As an aside...
Ga had the battle flag on the state flag for years.

Dude to protests, it was last used in 2001.
The people voted on a new flag, without the racist history of the flag that was used from 1956-2001.
In the end, the people got what they wanted. A new flag for the state of Ga, that held no reminders to a painful past.
This is the new flag in use since 2003. the people are now happy.

On a totally unrelated note... this is the official flag of The Confederate States of America.

If you were the type to get offended over silly crap... which state flag is more offensive?

Lol, not offended by you at all. I have a bit of a sore spot, down here I'm the "Redneck" or "Dumb hick", so I tend to over react, please don't be offended. Like I said, I really appreciate the talent that went into the artwork.

I also appreciate the Sarah Palin images and have deemed them worthy of my attention. The wife has stated she will not be wearing any fur bikinis, even if we do visit Alaska  ;D

To be fair, the character's mannerisms would seem to indicate he would not be interested in the hoo-hah, no matter how hot the hoo-hah were. ;)

Not that there's anything wrong with that...
