...let us travel back to those thrilling days of yesteryear -1978- when the noxious smell of Pyrodex first irritated the sensibiltiies of the blackpowder crowd.

    All I know is that muzzle loader hunting would not be nearly as easy as it is now without Pyrodex. Just like the facial tissue is known as a Kleenex, the synthetic powder is known as Pyrodex. I've used others, but I always go back to Pyrodex.

    I don't recall the early days.
