Fascinating bit of history from SurvivalBlog.  One of the more interesting oddities, to my mind, is Lt. Col. Schilling's full-auto M1911A1.

    Nice write-up.   :thumbup1  I always thought the coolest piatol I ever handled ( no, I didn't get to shoot it ) was a Beretta 93R with the three shot burst function.  Very nice.   :cool
