Well maybe not every blade of grass now.  But George is setting the example for rebuilding our numbers!   :devillol  seriously George is my hero!

So maybe a seperate discussion, what gun for shooting from behind blades of grass?   :neener

In all fairness, remember the french/normans were pretty bad A's.  Of course then they all invaded Britain and moved so...

The Normans (North Men) were transplanted Vikings and were indeed pretty hard men. At the time they were culturally distinct from the rest of France tho' they did speak French. I don't really think of them as French in the cassic Gallic, snail-eating, capitulation tradition

Your right Sarge.  But not transplanted Vikings.  Invading Vikings!   :devillol  Remember the king of France capitulated and gave them Normandy so they'd leave the rest of France alone...

Yes, they were the hard boiled variety of French, not the Candy-coated kind with the chewy noguts center....

Or in Western NC or most of the rural South, however I wouldn't place bets on Atlanta, Charlotte or the Research Triangle area. They'd BOHICA ASAP

Yeah, transplanted was a bit of a passive term, huh. I don't think England would have been the Empire it became had the Normans not held their own version of D-Day in 1066 and "injected" their unique warrior ethos into the British mix

I live outside Philly, on the Main Line. If Red Dawn happened in my backyard, something like 95% of my neighbors and 99.9% of local politicians would surrender and collaborate in a heartbeat.

I honestly don't know even one family that doesn't have at least one firearm in their home in south east KY.

I think that once you get past the coasts, east or west, any invading army would be met with a  gun behind every blade of grass, and the will to use them.
Lord, make me fast and accurate.  Let my aim be true and my hand faster than those who would seek to destroy me.  Grant me victory over my foes and those that wish to harm to me and mine.  Let not my last thought be

Don't let that secret out... Let the Liberals forget all about us "Fly-Over" States.  Then we push both coasts into the sea and we live happily every after.
