On a side note, Moms came over today for our weekly brunch ( Eggs, bacon, jalapeno homefries,  homemade biscuits etc).
During the conversation she goes "Oh, I checked out that link you sent me to Uprising USA at B&N."
 "Really?"
"Yeah, I ordered a copy for me and one for your brother, I got it on Kindle too."
"What? You didn't get one for me?"

George, just do me a huge favor, get a copy editor to review the book before putting out another printing or another book. As the son of an English teacher and an Economics and History teacher, I was distracted to say the least. The book needs a GPS unit review, Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling.
Otherwise, it was a very fun read and works well with the rest of the Uprising shorts here on WTA.

I'm glad someone else brought it up first.

Not only is there the "there/they're/their" mixups, but you also get think and thing juxtaposed quite often.  I go hide nao. :hide

I do want to try out my carrying an AK and PSL combo next time we do a training class.  It could be an "Uprising: Training" class.   and we have a bunch of target stands and you have to shoot as many you can in a short time period.

2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab here.
Can seat 5 comfortably or 4 larger people like me, comfortably.
Room in the back for whatever we want to haul.
It has a towing package so I can haul my large popup trailer behind (Can sleep 6.) which also has lots of stowage for gear.

Book one of mine is going slowly. Should have something by end of December it looks like.
Just hard to rewrite some parts to weave in mystery and the grasp of ...well you'll have to wait.
Plus, I have to wait for the parts George is completing to weave my tail into his better.
Gotta love it.
Uprising is going to be a big part of this Wednesday nights discussion I believe.
So, if you are a fan of Uprising tune in to George's We The Armed Spreecast at 10pm EDT, 7pm Pacific.
Hope to have my CAM up and running by then.

I am in the process of listening to Uprising USA on Audible.

Other than cringing at the Non Gun Guy Narrating the book; it is a fun listen. I enjoy it when an author takes a genre' or subject and applies some humor to it. Especially breaking the 4th wall and writing the author into the story.  Clive Cussler does that once in a while (several times he has saved Dirk Pitt's life).

I have one question for those of you who actually know some of the cast of characters.  Does ''Uncle Musket" actually talk that way?

Swear your Oath of Loyalty, of course.
I meant what great acts of courage/stupidity.  :neener

I am currently working on a joint writing project with another member here, but once that is done...  My Uprising story is getting reworked and completed.

Sounds good. When you start reworking yours, it might motivate me to finish my last chapter or so on my uprising story.

Absolutely.

Btw, you mind giving me a small update of progress so I can be jealous?  ;)

Ahem,
Is there a "Crusader" at a publisher soon?   The last I heard it was done and being reviewed.  I know that was before your Exodus to the Republic of Texas (by God).  Is there an update as to the status of this tale?

I am reading the Uprising series again, currently Uprising Italy, and I miss the continuing story so much.  I check weekly to see if there are more.  When will book four be out?  I miss reading about the Uprising family.

Well, Uprising has been tabled for right now.
But Uprising Russia and China will still happen.  Eventually.

Joe should Self Publish Uprising Crusader on Smashwords.
