A collection of those would be worth sharing here since some of Us are Hunters.

Anyone game for that?

I cleaned a rabbit in the field and cooked it with carrots, potatoes, and some Mrs Dash in a big tin can with some water. good stew. It would be better with some Old Bay seasoning, but we didn't have any.

I have a thing about eating what I shoot.  And I always suffered a bit after I went Dove hunting.  Until I found this recipe, which makes dove taste like a fancy hors d'ouvre with a KICK.

    For each serving:

    2 dove breasts
    2 jalapeno slices
    2 bacon slices
    2 toothpicks, soaked in water.

Put the two jalapeno slices between the 2 dove breasts (like a jalapeno sandwich) and wrap the bacon slices around the breasts.  Secure with waterlogged toothpicks.  Put 'em under the broiler, and turn now and then.  When the bacon's done, you're ready to eat.
