9mm
« on: January 26, 2013, 05:22:10 pm »
I've read a lot of negative reviews about the Intratec Cat 9. I've owned mine since about 1989 and never had a problem. Some recoil and not real accurate but a real easy carry. Anyone else have any feedback on it ? Thanks. This is my first post.

That gun has been made since the early part of the 90's. It wasn't popular even when it was sold. So unfortunately there probably isn't going to be many people who have experience with it.

But anyway, welcome to WTA. Hope you like it here. :)

You actually carry it?  Huh.  Never heard that before.  Range report?

Most Cat 9 pistols do not have sights.  I've seen a couple that had sights, but I'm not sure if that was factory or custom done.  Instead of sights, they have a groove.
I wouldn't recommend packing any gun that didn't have sights.
If yours has sights, I'm sure it's just fine and as long as its maintained, should continue to be just fine.

If you can't afford anything with a better track record.

"never had a problem with it"

This is only relevant when linked with a round count.

    500?

    5,000?

    25,000?

How many rounds have you pushed through it?

Also, how do you define "problem?"
