Small project idea for our gunsmiths

I've got a couple of those Swiss cleaning kits for the Stg 57.  They are really nice and I use mine all the time.  You can still find them for sale online for less than $5 each.   The only problem is they have a weird European threading on the end that is not compatible with standard US cleaning kit accessories.

When I first bought mine in 2002, there were cheap brass adapters for sale that allowed you to use US style patch holders.   Unfortunately, I only bought one adapter at the time.   I recently misplaced mine and it took me 3 months to find it.   During that time,  I looked online for another adapter, but it does not look like they are available anymore.  Finally found it tonight, but it was driving me nuts not being able to use my favorite Swiss cleaning kit.

Would  one of you guys that has threading tools be interested in making some extra adapters?   I looked and found that you can get blank brass rods or tubing for a couple bucks a foot here http://www.onlinemetals.com/merchant.cfm?id=79&step=2&top_cat=79&utm_content=3348343889&utm_term=brass%20rod&utm_campaign=Brass&utm_source=Bing_Yahoo&utm_medium=cpc

That would be enough to make a whole bunch of adapters since you only need an inch or two for each one.
