I bit the bullet.  for $75 it shouldn't be that bad.

My mother in law is getting an AR, may be a decent optic for a new shooter.

Looks like it might make a decent shotgun sight as well.   :hmm

If its like most other "AR" type sights it'll probably be a bit higher for shotguns.  :hmm

Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.

I've been getting the Vortex Sparc ARs from Palmetto State Armory lately.   They frequently have them as package deals with 10 pmags or an ammo can with a few hundred rounds.

I am as well.   USUALLY,......the cabelas brand scopes have been mid-range.  Not Leupold level but above the Firefield/Barska/Centerpoint/Konus range.

I recieved a backorder notice a couple days after my order.

Well I went to check on my order:  Cabelas cancelled it.  Never even sent an email notification.

They just cancelled my "pending" charge.  It was far enough back I hadn't looked.

Just peeved me they didnt even email me the cancellation notice.
