Yep. Lots of people are straying from the script. It's almost like they're getting fed up the party line BS.

    Wow...color me shocked....

Even if he did it for "press" at least he did it...as much as they shouldn't be easily influenced, that speech touched a lot of minds.

He coulda went and said "You just try hard, and you'll get what you deserve".

I hope those cheers were for what he was saying and not just because te audience were thinking "Oh my God, Ashton Cutcher's speaking!"

Sadly your hopes are dashed in my opinion......

Maybe hanging out with Bruce Willis did him some good.

I'm surprised, but those are good points he's made.  Hopefully some of those "WE LOVE YOU" idiots stopped screaming long enough for something to sink in.

I've heard a lot worse messages come out of the mouths of famous people. "work hard, make your own opportunities, and educate yourself (be smart)" is practically an ivory statue with golden trim compared to "you didn't build that!"  >:D.

Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.

For those who pay attention, this aspect of Ashton Kutcher hasn't been a secret for a long time.  ;)

Nor should you be.  But should one choose to opine on the subject of Ashton Kutcher, paying attention (ie. knowing what you're talking about) is important.

Replace Kutcher with ANY subject.  If this was followed, 75% of internet posts would never be made.

He's actually a pretty bright guy. Before becoming an actor, he was on the path to becoming a chemical engineer, a field that requires no small amount of brains. Too bad his public image is that of a bumbling putz.

I think your estimate is a bit low.   :P

His "big break" as Kelso on That 70's Show seems to have type-cast him in that "bumbling putz" role.
