Vice goes hunting in Chernobyl
« on: July 30, 2012, 06:40:01 pm »

Toward the end when he's carrying the two rifles and talking about the radioactive wasteland apocalypse kind of makes you smirk and think at the same time.

I don't recall seeing any demon mutant abominations and nuclear trading terrorist cels.

Great vid thou, Vice vids always make me chuckle, one way or the other, I specially liked the part T. mentioned, with the guy walking with 2 rifles.

Oh, and the ominous music in the background during most of Prypiat

He was drunk the whole time. He said that being drunk was all that saved the Chernobyl firemen the day of the blast. He seems to think that drunkeness is defense against radiation poisoning. It probably  just makes the hair and teeth loss and pissing blood tolerable.

I'm sure he was being snarky (eg. Russians and vodka?).

Anybody else notice how quick and adamant the guide was to correct him when he commented about the reactor being "Russian-built"?  The guide quickly corrected him that the Soviet Union built it.
