Oakland...

This is basically dated from the last two weeks.

Also, just last night, all the hippies, thugs, and teamsters blocked off the port of Oakland, the 5th busiest in the country.

For the ones who are still there, I hope it rained on them (since a weather system got blown over the bay a couple hours ago

What I heard from my buddy who lives in the East Bay is that basically all the police in the region ended up in Oakland because of the port thing.

I got this off my FB page from a guy who lives in Oakland, he's a neat lawyer and does a lot for the CA gun rights movement.

City Hall supported the "OO Movement" - then did not, then did, then did not, then did. While 1000's of white trust fund babies protest 50 different national problems, my neighbors are dying right here in East Oakland.

OK, one last pic before I pull the hair out of my bald head. Notice the details here: the $35 stainless steel water bottles, the $100+ backpacks, the expensive clothes, the makeup and hair. DOES ANY RATIONAL PERSON HERE THINK THESE PEOPLE ARE POOR, OR OPPRESSED? They are young idealists who ARE being manipulated by smarter, older people - and I am not exactly sure what the OO movement wants to accomplish at this point. Right now, they have cost Oakland (us) at least 10's of millions of dollars, further fluffed our reputation, and likely destroyed tons of small businesses (operated by the 99 percent, BTW). They have also caused our entire political system (such as it was) major harm. Our City Government is now in shambles - RIGHT WHEN WE NEED IT MOST TO FIGHT A REAL PROBLEM (violence).

Just thought I'd post this.  Of course, I heard that Mother Jones is downplaying OO and making it seem like NBD...

Regarding the very first link I posted, when you see the "Spirit of Lovelle Mixon" sign picture and you wonder who that is, that's the serial rapist/criminal who killed 4 officers in March 2009.  Remember that?

I wonder what will happen now that OO is messing with the port operations.  Blocking port facilities gets into federal law.  Blocking ILWU jobs is a problem--for the protesters.    It would be interesting to see union goons stuffing Gucci hippies into trashcans.  Probably a low impulse on my part, but I really like that idea.

Just like any other man, only more so.
