Getting the Concealed Carry Permit ... finally.
« on: June 09, 2020, 04:55:30 pm »
So after living in VA for 18 years,  I've finally applied for a VA CCW permit.
I had one from NC, but let it expire due to the nature and location of my work.
(the GOV doesn't allow for CCW on its property, peasant)
So for 16 years, my EDC was limited to knives.

I've submitted my paperwork, even submitted copies of prior CCW\certifications, and paid the fee$.
Now I'm waiting the 3-4 weeks for delivery.
In the meantime, I've ordered an IWB holster and an ankle holster.

Yes, I do intend to carry a mouse gun:

I have the LCP custom, which is an evolution of the LCP to the LCP II.Red trigger and all.No safety except your finger. It also aint a gun I'm taking to the range for funsie plinking.I may look into some grip tape or new grips.
BUT.  I really really like its size and ease of concealment.
Here on my property, I often just drop it in a back pocket or cargo pocket. It is light enough to not print or hang like a brick in the pocket.I found a 7 round magazine and load Remington Ultimate Defense. (102 gr., BJHP)I would like to try some Federal Personal Defense (99gr. HST JHP) but cannot find any.
