Angle Head Flashlights.
« on: June 10, 2018, 01:26:59 am »
Who makes a good LED angle head flashlight? I need one.

I was thinking of the Fenix MC11 (perfect option, but they are all out of stock and I am not sure if they are out of production).

I want something in a "common" battery. Small or medium light such as AA batteries or 120-200 lumens or so.

I was also looking at this option, but am not too familiar with the brand.

Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.
Ray Chapman, used to say that the 125-grain Magnum load’s almost magical stopping power was the only reason to load .357 instead of .38 Special +P ammunition into a fighting revolver chambered for the Magnum round. I agree. - Massad Ayoob

I like Streamlight.  That said I did not see anything that they have that meets your requirements.  I just bite the bullet and buy CR123's in bulk.  That saves me a lot of grief and gives me lots of light.

    Was in a rush before, here's a link http://www.zebralight.com/SC5-AA-Flashlight-Cool-White-OP_p_170.html#

Seems like a nice flash light, but it's a straight light. Not an angle light  :hmm .

Big score today. Found an aluminum bodied, LED angle light that is built to the same dimensions as the military one.

400 lumens, multi coloured lenses, takes 6 AA batteries, and is water proof.

All criteria has been met and I am one very happy camper  :thumbup2 .

    :dance :dance :dance

It's by a brand called jobsmart which is a tractor supply exclusive brand name.
