Needed: A LH drop holster and belt for the M9
« on: June 04, 2017, 03:56:08 pm »
I am in need of a source for a LH military holster for the Beretta M9.  My father keeps bees, and he is reporting a large number of coyote near his one hive stand.  Apparently they live in a cluster of trees very close by.  He wants to start carrying while he maintains those hives, as they are quite far from civilization.  His only pistol is a Beretta 92, which is convenient, because the best type of carry option is OC over the closed bee suit, and I figure a green flap holster on a Molle belt would work perfectly.  If anyone knows where to source a Left Hand model, it would be appreciated. :thumbup1

Safariland/Bianchi has a few offerings. M12, UM84I, UM12I, etc., and they are (according to the website) ambidexterous. I don't know if they'll work on a MOLLE belt, but they will work on a 2.5" web belt, and those can be found easily and for not a lot of money.

The Bianchi M12/UM841,etc.,etc.  .mil flap design can be reversed.   Good holsters, I have one for mine.

Not sure how to make it a dropleg...I've never looked into it,.   I personally LOVE the surplus French "G" model dropleg for the beretta but I believe they're only RH model.

No, not a drop leg holster.  I meant just drop from the belt.  The M12 is exactly what I had in mind, I just didn't know what they were called.
