Flashlight for Shotgun...
« on: June 12, 2017, 06:52:48 pm »
I recently lucked into a screaming good deal on a Mossberg 590 18.5" barrel with Magpul furniture and XS ghost ring sights.

My question is what's a good light setup that I can utilize the Magpul forend instead of getting the Surefire forend. What's a good light preferably with the option of mounting a pressure switch?

Get the Surefire forend.  Barring that, add a rail section forward of the pump action, and put a simple pistol light on there.  If not the surefire forend, don't put anything on the forend.  You will have jarring, painful and distracting results otherwise.

I have an elzetta ZSM mount with a stream light polytac flashlight forward of the pump on mine. It works very well and stays out of the way.
