Jason from Concealment Solutions suggested an article on quality muzzle devices. I'm more than happy to oblige.  :thumbup1

A good basic education for those of us who are not fluent in ARspeak.  Thanks.   :thumbup1

Good article. I'm also a fan of the Specwar muzzle brake that Silencerco makes. I have a flash hider from them as well, but I don't have a .30 cal to put it on yet.

While not specific to the AR, I think a couple of good FH/Brake are left out.

I have heard and read good things from the APA brakes.  Some of the best at recoil production.  Either way, a good brake will do it's job.  This is Marcus shooting his 6.5 Creedmoor with a brake.  It looks like his rifle never moves.

And what about the Silencerco ASR Flashhider?  Supposedly a patent pending design with forks so they don't vibrate like a tuning fork.  Is there anything to that?  I don't know much about flash hiders.

I haven't taken a look at the that last one Steven. I've always thought of their FH as generic and over priced. If they have new tech it will be worth taking another look.

Oh, yeah. I remember the ASR now. Falls under the brake only category and does a good job of it.
