Picked up a copy at my local Wal Mart. Not cheap, at about $10, but full of articles. And I mean, full. I don't think it has any full page ads. Recommended for anyone who has interest in the old war horses.

Actually picked up a copy off the magazine rack on my way home from work a few days ago. Il Rob's assessment is right on: full of very long, very detailed articles with only a bare minimum of ads. Not like any other gun rag I've read, and I mean that in a good way.

not cheap, but neither was Surplus Firearms which I bought before...emailed them asking about subscription costs this morning...but yeah, with as much as they put in the first edition they will be hard pressed to keep up that level of content...
but overall :thumbup1
Funny though, for the K98 you think they would of been able to find a turned down bolt handle for the article....

Nice. I'll have to check it out. I was bummed when I picked up the last Surplus issue. Is it going to be monthly, bimonthly, or quarterly? For $10, it might cost out. But, for good articles and history, $10's a decent price.
