Last month (almost to the day), I made an impulse purchase I found on Backpage. A 1943 Inland M1 Carbine. Just snapped some quick pics this weekend.
I picked it up from a guy whose father had just died a few days before and had it in his collection. He was selling it to pay funeral costs. He told me that he wasn't sure where his father had gotten it, but that he had always had it as long as he could remember (45 to 50 years would be my best guess). I asked about sentimental value, and he kind of avoided the question, just saying that
"there are some other things I have". Hm.

I didn't press any further.
So here it is. Came with the bag, bayonet, the whole kit. Heh.

I haven't been out to shoot it yet, but I plan to here one of these days soon.
