C&R prices, are they about to skyrocket?

Are C&R prices going to skyrocket due to the new Obama rule regarding importation of 'military grade' weapons?



What sucks is I have been thinking about a Garand for a while but cannot afford one now, and I suspect the reimportation of semi-autos will be the most affected by this.

    In the short run most likely as some panic buying sets in but in the long run not much... Many c&r guns are already being treated in a closed supply chain from one collector to another so not importing something that isn't being imported note shouldn't matter

    This shouldn't be a surprise though. They have already blocked the Korean M1s for a few years now

    But wait for them to go after ammo....

    I hope not, I've been looking to get a CZ82 in 9Mak. I too think Mugabee &Co. will go after the ammo......God, another 1,300 days of this filthy Chicago trash. This administration has given new meaning to D.C. (Dirty City)

    As I read the EO I dont think it applies is any way to foreign imports, just the REimportation of former US mil firearms.

    so that means that it will hit almost exclusively ODCMP stuff, right?

    I think thats right from what I have read lately. It seems to be a targeted effort against the CMP. Just one more slash in their plan of "Death By A Thousand Cuts."

    From what I've read (more closely) yes it's on reimporting U.S. military. Which is going to in effect kill the CMP. I can't fathom why they want to take away our military history, but I guess nothing's sacred anymore.
    But, it seems like they're worried about this on the streets:
