SilencerCo Hybrid 46
« on: March 21, 2018, 04:57:25 pm »
Hey,

Looking into getting my first suppressor and am interested in the Hybrid 46. I like the idea of being able to use it on a rifle and handgun.

I know you  have to purchase the  attachements to get that all done, but my question is does anyone own one and would reccomend or have any other reccomendations? Tried searching for the Hybrid 46 specifically and didn't see anything.

Right now I'm primarily getting it for 300blk and 5.56  ARs, and 9mm handguns and I like that the Hybrid 46 can do that all.

Thanks!

Nevada

I've got a Hybrid, I like it a lot, its a great one can option.
I got it to work primarily as a rifle can, its really big for pistol use without an optic of some kind.
The ASR mount suffers from the same issues all thread on QD mounts suffer from, they can get carbon locked to the mount from time to time.
If it was my first can I'd probably grab the Key Mo adapter from dead air and just use their muzzle devices.

Lemme know if you have any specific questions or whatever.

    Thanks for the reply!

I'll look into the dead air adapter.

It costs about 2x as much as the ASR mount you'd have to buy to use SiCo's ASR but its 100% worth it.

No Idea where you're located but in Texas I do 90+% of my NFA business with capitol armory they're good people and have good service & prices.
