I'm looking online and can't find a Ruger GTS. Is my Google-fu not working, or is it called something else?
If it's a .308 made by Ruger, it should have a 5/8x24 thread pitch. Most .308's have that pitch, and most .308 cans will have a direct thread mount for it.
I have a SilencerCo Omega that can handle up to .300 Winchester Magnum. I really like it. I normally shoot it on an AR-15 platform. Some day I'll get a .308 to try it out on. It comes with a direct thread mount, and also a muzzle brake to use with the included quick detach ASR mount.

Ruger Gunsight rifle maybe?  Though, again, I would think that is a 5/8X24 under the muzzle device.

Those have the 5/8x24 thread. I think you would be hard pressed to find a .30 caliber suppressor that wouldn't have a direct thread mount for that pitch, or even a QD mount system with a flash hider or brake.
It depends on what you want to spend for a suppressor. There are a lot of options out there. Some will have more of a point of impact shift than others. I've been really happy with the SilencerCo Omega. I haven't had a chance to shoot it on a .30 caliber gun yet, but it's a nice can.

    Suppressor companies:

    AAC
    SilencerCo
    Gemtech
    Huntertown Arms
    Dead Air
    Bowers
    YHM
    Liberty
    Griffin Armament
    Innovative Arms
    Knights Armament
    Palmetto State Defense
    Rugged
    Sig
    Surefire
    Thunderbeast

This probably isn't all of them. They may not all have what you are looking for, but I would recommend checking out a number of them. One big thing to remember is that the sound you will be worried about is the sound closest to your ear. Some suppressors have a good rating up front, where most tests are taken, but are quite loud by the shooters ear. I would much rather have it a little louder out front, and have it be quieter for me.

Just for fun, my friend and I went down range to hear what a non suppressed gun vs. a suppressed gun sound like. It was at a local outdoor range where there is a berm to protect people that are changing targets at the 100 yard spot. You walk down the outside of the berm and set up your targets behind a large wall of dirt. This way people can keep shooting while you change targets.

Anyway, one friend stayed back to do the shooting. With a non suppressed 5.56 gun, we heard the bullet snap past us, then the report of the rifle. After 5 shots, he changed to a suppressed gun. It had an Omega .30 caliber can on a 5.56 rifle. At 100 yards all we heard was the snap of the bullet going by. No report from the rifle at all. That's with a larger opening at the front of the suppressor, creating more sound at the front.

Some come with direct thread mounts anyway. Mine came with the ASR QD mount, and direct thread as well. I do QD on my stuff, but it's nice to have the option to put your can on somebody else's gun so they can try it.

Check out the Silencerco Hybrid, I got one as a 4th can and I wish I'd gotten it as my 1st.
    Superior flexibility and great performance!
