I had a nice conversation with a gentleman in AAC's repair department today. My suppressor had an incident of a Hornady XTP fragmenting inside the can, and destroying two baffles. I was advised that this is the leading cause of baffle strikes in pistol suppressors, and it is recommended to not use HP ammunition in them. Odd... This is the first I have ever heard of that.
Has anyone else here had a similar experience, or received similar advice?
