I just bought a .22 can, have to wait a while for it though. I have a Browning Buckmark that I bought a threaded barrel for. The barrel actually is being delivered today. Should be a good one.
I've been watching a fair amount of videos online, and it seems like a lot of people use the Ruger 22/45. I can update when the can comes so I can see how the pistol sounds. I really like the Buckmark as a whole. Great shooting pistol.

The easiest way to go would be a Ruger MkIII or 22/45 that comes with a threaded barrel. They run just fine suppressed, they're well built, and well supported.

I played with a Browning 1911-22 yesterday though, and I think it would be far and away the coolest option. Spendy for a .22 though.

My Buckmark is the most reliable .22 anything I've ever had anything to do with.  I haven't put a suppressor on it, but it would be the first on my list.

I have a threaded Buckmark and it is excellent. My wife likes the Ruger 22/45 but the grip angle does not work for me. The only downside to the Buckmark is the dissasembly.  When you take it all the way apart you must remove a screw first.  The Buckmark is the most accurate in my hand, but the M&P is my favorite. It is accurate enough, functions well, and is the easiest of the three to maintain.

I like my 22/45. The biggest thing with the Rugers is to buy one with a threaded barrel, as opposed to buying any old Ruger Mk-X series and planning to install a TB. The upper is the "gun part," so you'd have to buy another "gun."

It's got a huge aftermarket, so mods are easy. Mine is awesome with my Silencerco 22Sparrow, Docter sight, and Volquartsen (sp?) trigger kit. I use it for teaching, in addition to amusement. Great for inexperienced shooters because it's quiet, no recoil, light trigger (good trigger control is less critical), and a red dot. It's a point-click-interface, which helps build confidence and makes learning shooting fun. After some big smiles, I remove the suppressor, then move on to bigger, louder, more technically demanding handguns once the student has been "bitten by the shooting bug."
The only problem is my wife tries to monopolize it every time she shoots it. I only get trigger time when I go to the range alone.

Another +1 for the Buckmark with Tactical Solutions barrel.  I love mine.

More so than the integrally suppressed Ruger MkII?
