WTT: Sig 1911 tacpac
« on: March 03, 2014, 10:19:12 pm »
As I posted in another thread, I traded into this pistol a little while back. Original owner told me he put around 500 rounds down the barrel and never carried it, and from the looks of the gun I'd tend to believe him.
Nothing wrong with this pistol. I haven't even fired it. I've just been thinking that there are some guns I'd like to have over another 1911. Especially considering I never even carry my other one.
Anyway, I'm looking at a trade value of $800 or so here. I'd really like to trade for another gun plus cash, or perhaps two other guns, as none of the guns on my list are quite as high as this one.

Trade interests include:
Other .45 pistols (Ruger P90, Sig P220, etc.)
Glocks (19, 27, 30S especially)
Polish P-64
Makarov in 9x18. No .380
AK
Ruger LCR in .357
Marlin Glenfield 60
Centerfire lever action rifles
Stevens 311 in 16ga

I'm interested in other stuff too. Feel free to make offers. If you have nothing to trade I'll listen to a cash offer, but I kind if prefer trading.

Where in IN are you? I'm in South Bend. Do you have the case and all the mags?

If you wish for peace, prepare for war.

A battalion commander of the 23rd Regiment 2nd Infantry Division reported during Operation Cobra, the long awaited breakout from St. Lo (July 1944):

"I have no water, I have no chow, I have no batteries for my radio, I have no communication. My men are dead dog tired. I repeat, my men are dead dog tired. I have been given an order to attack. I am about to comply with this order. End of message."

I actually have 2.5 of the ones you're interested in, but I'm kinda fond of them, and . . . sacrilege though it may be, I'm not that interested in 1911s.  Probably because I can't recall that I've ever shot one.  Best not start now.

I'm south of Lafayette. Surrounded by corn and beans. I do have everything that normally comes with it except for the owner's manual.

I'm going to have to pass. I don't think my limited means would let me give a 10mm the love it would deserve.

As clarification, the main lever guns I would be interested in would be .357 magnum, .44 magnum, .35 Remington, .30-30, and .45-70.
