OK I think.  Haven't heard anything to the contrary.  I wasn't able to make our last group shoot so I haven't talked to him in a while either.   :shrug
Well that's good, I didn't imagine anything was wrong.  Just wanted to know why he doesn't post anymore.

Maybe he left us for a younger and prettier gun forum?  :'(

Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.

      Facebook...........

The bane of 90% of forums on the interwebs.   Most of the WTA crew that doesn't post here post a LOT on facebook.

I dunno.   I much prefer forums VS facebook.  To hard to carry a meaningful conversation on facebook.

Umm .  .  .  He works.  He has a family.  He has an independent business outside of his daily work.  He's also a moderator over at www.arizonagunowners.com .  I don't think he means it as any sort of slight but people's circumstance can change and your actual life will always dictate what amount of time you have to spend here - at least that's the way it works for me.

Ahem... :eh  Back to the thread topic...

All three still available.  I jacked up the price for the S&W on armslist.  I think the low price was actually scaring some people away, and those who were not though that was my 'ideal' price. :scrutiny  WTA price remains the same.

In the latest twist, someone saw fit to flag two of my listings as scams. :scrutiny

Not sure why, as I have never asked anyone to do anything illegal or even sketchy, but I have had to turn down several scammers, including a few who asked me to break the law.  Maybe this was retaliation for calling them out, and/or ignoring them? :shrug

I have pretty much given up on armslist.  Six months ago it was the place to go, (locally at least) now it is a cesspool of scammers and flakes.

I would suggest keeping the model 19. Either that or lending it to me while you think about it  :neener.

The reason I was so keen to jump on it was that when is the next time you'll get to see a model 19? They just don't come up all that often in my experience.

Also maybe keep the bolt gun... And the Walther...

     - No, we can not do an FTF if you are not a resident of my state.
     - Yes, I will consider shipping, but only if you want to pay first. (They didn't)
     - No, I will not send it to your dealer before you pay. (Different guy)
     - No, I will not send it directly to your house.
     - No, I will not let you send me your entire paycheck, then refund you the balance.
     - No, I will not let you have an 'agent' of your FFL stop by my house and pick it up.
     - Even if you pay first
     - Even if I have a copy of 'their FFL.'

And 'No,' not one of these is made up.  :facepalm

Someone who 'represents' the FFL, that may or may not work for them.  Or in this case, I suspect, the buyer himself, after sending/handing me a bogus copy of someone else's FFL.

Yeah man, even if it was legal to do that, I'd be worried about your safety. I wouldn't meet anybody anywhere outside of a police station or a respectable public establishment (like a Del Taco for instance) to do an exchange.
