FBMG AK's now on sale!
« on: June 10, 2009, 07:50:30 pm »
After much delay from the ATF, we have our manufacturers license and are cranking out the first of the AK's. We are taking orders on them now and you can expect to see it delivered in about 4 weeks. All guns are built on NDS receivers and use the Tapco G2 trigger groups. Shipping is a flat $15.

The KP is built on an Arsenal receiver with the worst of the polish kits we have. It came out pretty good I think considering the condition of the kit. All other kits are in excellent shape. These are finished in semi gloss duracoat. Retail is $999, members get them for $950

The Polish under folder is built on the premium receiver and as I said these kits are in excellent shape. These came from Vectors imports. These are finished in satin black duracoat. Retail is $850, member price is $800

The Yugo under folders come in two styles. New and battle field pick-ups. The BFPU's have the carved hand guards and have had the finish brushed off like you see here. There is no choice on hand guards at this time, and if you have your own set we will put those on and save you $35 on the price of the rifle. These are currently finished in matte duracoat but the plan is to blue them like the original finish in the next 3 or 4 weeks. BFPU retail is $999, member price is $950. Like New price is $925 and member price is $875

There will also be a solid stock version coming in the next few weeks for $925 and member price is $875.

Please call the store to place you order via CC. Thanks for everyone's patience and support.

    $950 for an AK!  :o

I'm not saying that your price isn't fair but I never thought I would see the day when the price of an AK rivaled the AR.

Trigger group, gas piston, receiver, magazine, and on the new yugos the hand guards and stock.

As for the price, look at the upper end guns like Arsenal (which I will stack my guns against for fit and finish) and the Krebs. They are even more than ours.

Cheap Romanian battlefield pick ups are going for 700... so a bit more for one that is actually worth owning?  No, those are not bad prices at all.  We had one Arsenal that was 950 bucks... I didn't really like it because it had the Kink style but a long skinny barrel to make regulation.  It sold pretty quick.  950 for that one pictured at the top - that's priced right.
    Good job, James.

May I inquire to the stamping?  I wouldn't mind owning an AK stamped "Fuzzy Bunny".

Also, can one request a custom serial number, even if it's at an additional price?

They stamping on the first run have the Draper UT the next few months of production will have Herriman UT. As for the trade name it just says FBMG.

We are not able to get custom serial numbers from NDS. We have another vendor that may be able to do it for you, we will check into that.

Well the Polish ones have a duracoat finish and are $80 less.

The like new Yugo's will be $25 less and have the original style finish. They don't have a BFPU version....

They also don't have a solid stock Yugo or Kyber Pass version.......

And their AK-103's are about $50 more than what we are doing the same conversions for.

So, just some thoughts off my head.
